Re-entry

  • There is no re-admission to Hi-Tide after entry. Please plan ahead

Age restrictions

  • An adult over 18 can accompany a maximum of 2 children (aged 0-9) into the event. This MUST be the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the young person
  • All young persons (aged 10-14) MUST be accompanied by an adult over the age of 24. This MUST be the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the young person. An adult aged 24 or older can accompany a maximum of 4 young persons (aged 10-14)
  • All young persons (aged 15-17) MUST be accompanied by an adult over the age of 30. This MUST be the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the young person. An adult over the age of 30 can accompany a maximum of 4 young persons (aged 15-17) into the event
  • Proof of age maybe required on entry and all bars operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy. Recognised and accepted forms of ID are as follows:
    • Driving or provisional licience
    • Passport
    • Proof of age card with a PASS (hologram) logo

What can I bring?

Food & drink

  • We have a range of bars and food traders at the event. If you have a certain dietary requirement, several of our food vendors will offer suitable meals, but these may not be suitable for visitors with allergies

Seating

  • Chairs, seats, shooting sticks and tables, are not permitted at concert events for safety reasons. This is a standing show.

Bags

  • Anything bigger than a canvas shopping bag / overarm bag are prohibited. Note there are no cloakroom facilities at the event

Animals

  • Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs, are not permitted at any time on concert days.

Prohibited items

  • In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all patrons, the Site reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to conduct security searches of persons, clothing, bags and all other items on entry and exit and to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the Event with no refunds (please note that we are not responsible for any prohibited items or other items that we deem inappropriate or unsafe that are confiscated).

    • Signs or inappropriate branded items
    • Any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security;
    • New psychoactive substances / so-called ‘legal highs’ are strictly forbidden at the event and following the introduction of the Psychoactive Substances Act on 26 May 2016, could result in penalties for possession or supply

Challenge 25

  • If you are lucky enough to look under 25, we may ask you to prove your age when entering the event or when attempting to buy alcohol as part of our Challenge 25 Alcohol Policy
  • Proof of age maybe required on entry and all bars operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy. Recognised and accepted forms of ID are as follows:

Cigarettes and Smoking

  • Smoking cigarettes (or electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in indoor bars and venues. Please dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly

Behaviour

  • Illegal and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and will lead to ejection from the event. For the safety of all our visitors, crowd surfing and moshing are prohibited.

Photography

  • Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is strictly prohibited. Your bags will be searched upon entry to the event and cameras will be permitted at the security team’s discretion, so if in doubt don’t bring it

  • Cash machines will be onsite and accept all UK debit cards

Water points

  • There will be water points located at every bar and toilet block where you can re fill your vessel

Customer Welfare and First Aid Provision

  • Welfare and First Aid provision will be available at the event and operated by our trained and experienced staff. Both services are open during event hours and all visits are logged and recorded

Access Info

Your PA / Carer Accessibility Wristband will be given to you at the box office at the main entrance when you arrive and grants access to the following facilities at the festival.

Toilets

  • Wheel chair accessible toilets will be available. We will provide at least one accessible toilet at each block in the main arena, one at each viewing platform and one in the welfare area. These will be festival style portable units, some of which will be locked with Radar locks

Bars

  • There will be lowered bars, which will also have large-print menus

Viewing platform

  • Viewing platforms have a limited capacity and are strictly for access customers plus one PA only. To book your place on the viewing platform, you need to have completed the Access Requirements form.

Access around the site

  • The concert arena is fully accessible for wheelchair users, most of the attraction is paved with flat surfaces and paths

Medical Services

  • Our onsite medical services provide comprehensive medical advice and treatment facilities and are flexible in meeting specific needs

Sustainability

  • Sustainability is very important to us at Hi-Tide Festival and we are constantly reviewing our policies. We are implementing systems to make sure our festival is able to reduce waste and be as environmentally friendly as possible. Details to follow.

  • Welfare and First Aid provision will be available at the event and operated by our trained and experienced staff
  • Both services are open during event hours and all visits are logged and recorded
  • Please ensure you bring adequate clothing for the weather conditions on the day

Local Resident Information

  • We are working with Dreamland and the Local Authority to minimise any disruption to the surrounding areas. There will be additional planning measures installed around these days to ensure the safe movement of our guests and the public. All of the details regarding these measures will be released via Dreamland well in advance of the event.

Recorded Content

Video and Sound Recordings

  • Please note that film cameras may be present at the Event. By entering the Event and/or purchasing Tickets, ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording (which may include you as a member of the audience) and its use in distribution (commercial or otherwise) without any payment

CCTV

  • A CCTV system is in operation across the whole event site for everyone’s safety and wellbeing. The scheme is controlled by Dreamland

Ticketing

  • Tickets for the event can be purchased from Dreamland, AXS, Dice
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The ticket purchaser is required to bring ID alongside their ticket to gain entry to the event. Letters of authorisation will be accepted in place of the original ticket purchaser’s ID. Hi-Tide reserves the right to refuse admission if these terms are not adhered to
